Get to Know
Dr. Monaf Alyassi
Dr. Alyassi says that the best part of his job as a Worcester endodontist is that he gets to provide definitive answers for his patients. He can diagnose what is causing their pain as well as deliver immediate relief, helping them preserve their teeth and get back to their normal lives. His endodontic expertise enables our practice to provide a multitude of specialty dental services right here in Worcester, saving our patients from having to visit different offices.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
When Dr. Alyassi was 16, he fell in love with the complexity of dentistry and how finite the details are. To him, it’s endlessly fascinating, and his passion hasn’t waned throughout his 25+ year career.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Alyassi earned his DMD degree from Boston University before going on to complete his specialty training in endodontics at Tufts University. As a student, he was invited to join Omicron Kappa Upsilon (the dental honor society), which is offered to only the top performers in each dental class. He is also dedicated to continuing education and is a member of the:
- American Dental Association
- Massachusetts Dental Society
- National Society of Dental Practitioners
- American Association of Endodontics

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When he isn’t taking care of patients, you’ll most often find Dr. Alyassi watching soccer, traveling, reading, or teaching Sunday school.
