These gadgets and sophisticated appliances not only allow for easier diagnosis but also, greater comfort for patients like yourself. CT/Cone Beam Scanner

Enhanced imaging is often required when preparing for complex dental care. For example, when dental implants must be put into place, a CT/Cone Beam Scanner can be used to pinpoint the exact areas for implant placement, ensuring maximum support and stability during oral surgery. The hundreds of images taken during the scanning process form a 3D model that is used for planning purposes as well as the fabrication of your custom restoration.

Digital Dental Impressions

When crafting a custom restoration, technicians no longer need to use physical impressions captured with cold, messy dental putty. Instead, we can provide them with a three-dimensional model that is produced by digital impressions. Scanning your teeth and bite, the images form on a nearby monitor to recreate a model of your smile, making it easier for lab technicians to more accurately fabricate a restoration based on the unique specifications provided.

Soft Tissue Laser

Our Picasso diode laser makes for more comfortable and faster treatments. Whether it’s targeting harmful bacteria or creating more beautiful gumlines, this piece of technological equipment reduces the amount of bleeding and swelling while also sterilizing as it cuts, reducing the potential for post-operative infection. Instead of scalpels and sutures, this concentrated beam of light does all the work, creating a less strenuous recovery process.

Digital Cavity Detection

Our Illumination cavity detection system makes it easy for our team to identify cavities in their earliest stages. By using a specialized light that causes tooth decay to become easily detectable, we can quickly administer treatment to halt the spread of harmful bacteria, reducing the chances of needing invasive restorative treatment.

Intraoral Camera

To finally see what it is that your dentist sees, we now use what is known as an intraoral camera. This device scans your mouth and projects the images onto a chairside monitor. From there, you can easily view the same thing as your dentist, all while learning more about the status of your oral health and why it’s essential to take proper care of your teeth and gums.
